| Kusadasi Kusadasi is on the west coast about 90 kilometers from Izmir; this is one of the most popular tourist destinations along the Aegean coast. The reason behind this is its vicinity to important historical sights such as Ephesus among others. Kusadasi has a very typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and very mild winters, which of course makes it ideal for a long tourist season. The city has 300 sunny days per year. There are many beaches to choose between and one of them is located in the very center of Kusadasi. Many tourists come here for sun and to bathe and because of that, regular boat trips depart from the city of Izmir. This is truly a paradise since there are beaches here with warm and clear water and along the beaches there is a wide variety of beach and water facilities. Just to mention some of them: windsurfing, diving, sailing and water-skiing, which makes it a perfect place for those who love the active outdoor life. After being out in the sun all day you can in the evening enjoy a spectacular sunset at one of the restaurants or cafés along the main street with its rows of palm trees. The restaurants in Kusadasi serve fresh seafood, fish, and Aegean specialities. After a good dinner you can spend your time until daybreak in one of Kusadasi’s all bars and nightclubs. |
